About Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS/TAWS) Training
The Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS) is a terrain awareness warning system introduced to reduce the risk of controlled flight into terrain. It updates flight crew on terrain conditions and alerts them if there are any obstacles and hazards ahead.
To familiarize flight crew with this critical system, Scandlearn features a course that describes the operations and limitations of EGPWS. It provides all the vital information for any pilot who wants to operate turbine operated aircraft with a certified take off mass over 5700 kg and approved seating configuration of more than nine.
